Colour – MPEG noise reduction and 8-BIT colour gamut processing produces screen images with much smoother colour gradation and a reduction in the ‘blocking’ effect that is often noticeable with large areas of colour of a similar detail. (Both high definition and standard definition images are produced with increased detail compared to conventional LCD televisions.)

Movement – Toshiba's Real Speed Continuous Progressive technology removes motion blur and maintains the benefit offered by progressive scan over interlaced image technology.
